Hostalot Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all Hostalot services, including web hosting, related infrastructure, and any tools or support provided by Hostalot (“Services”). This AUP is incorporated into the Hostalot Terms of Service.
By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
1. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Services to:
1.1 Illegal or Harmful Conduct
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Promote or facilitate criminal activity.
- Host or distribute content that is unlawful.
1.2 Security and Abuse
- Host, distribute, or link to malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code.
- Engage in phishing, credential harvesting, or social engineering.
- Attempt unauthorized access to any system, network, or account.
- Scan, probe, or test the vulnerability of any system without authorization.
1.3 Spam and Messaging Abuse
- Send unsolicited bulk email or messages.
- Operate open relays, abusive SMTP services, or spam tools.
- Use purchased lists or deceptive marketing tactics.
1.4 Infringing Content
- Host or distribute content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
1.5 Exploitative or Unsafe Content
- Host content involving the exploitation or abuse of minors.
- Host content that incites violence or provides instructions for serious wrongdoing.
2. Resource Abuse and Fair Use
Hostalot services are intended for standard website and business use.
You may not:
- Run crypto mining or distributed computing workloads.
- Use hosting primarily as a file storage vault, media dump, or backup repository.
- Consume excessive CPU, memory, disk I/O, or network bandwidth that harms service stability for others.
If your usage exceeds normal thresholds, we may:
- Request you upgrade to a higher plan,
- Temporarily limit resources,
- Or suspend the affected service to protect platform health.
3. Enforcement
Hostalot may investigate suspected violations and take action, including:
- Removing or disabling access to content,
- Rate-limiting or restricting resources,
- Temporary suspension,
- Account termination.
In urgent cases involving security risk or active abuse, Hostalot may suspend services without prior notice.
